  is his question out of bounds for a new poster?

  it seems like a digging for facts so he can turn someone in type of question.

  I would love to not feel so paranoid, as you put it, but the cold hard truth is that most of us on here have been screwed over by people we trusted with and all our lives. I've not quick to trust new people. Why would anyone need to know how many elders there are on an apostate site?

  People are hiding here. I think it raises our suspiciouns for someone of only 111 posts to ask such prying questions of the group. Some might answer your question but most may not. It's too risky. You will never find out the true number.

  It's just weird.

  This is not a hate post! I just found his question to be too nosy. Trust hasn't been built yet. He hasn't been here long enough to read a year of posts where people have come out and said they were this or that.

  Personally, I don't think he deserves such information at this time. I don't trust people who ask revealing questions about others they don't know.

  Am I wrong?

  JW's won't know what others are doing because they aren't allowed to read anything not JW related. They will only read about what the WTS is doing, not others. They sure know how to blow sunshine up their collective a$$e$, don't they?

  99% of jw's have no idea whats allowed and whats banned - too complex.. so most jw's tick the i accept nothing box.

  this from an hlc member i spoke with some time back.

  just to be on the 'safe' side, ironically.. anyway imagine the number of dead jw's there would be if this was allowed to run its course.. so imho part of the hlc raison d'etre is to make sure jw's take the blood fractions they are 'allowed'.. thoughts?.

  So, JW's are still forbidden from donating blood. Gotcha. But I'm confused about how the HLC ever gets wind of the JW in the hospital? Aside from the obvious calling the elders when someone is in the hospital, isn't there ever a time when the ill one doesn't want them there? Isn't that the time when you can sneek blood if you need it? How do they know your condition without reading your chart? That is confidential, right? Where do hospital ethics prevent others from reading your records? Where is the confidentiality?

  I could, in all honesty, get away with taking blood and no one being the wiser. All I would have to do is explain that any treatment is confidential because of the HLC, and that I don't want them there interfering. If questioned by elders later on why I didn't want the HLC involved, I would say that it's confidential. It would be a legal thing. If they tried a JC with me, I'd get a lawyer involved.

  Does the HLC have access to my records? Am I way off on all of this?

  Are active JW's seeing the light?

  i ask this because i had a strange experience this week.

  for a brief bit of background knowledge i'm being shunned like most on here, but i see witnesses every day in my place of work and at the school gate, there's no avoiding them, and like many of you, i've found it really hard to get over the hurt and heartache this has caused.. yesterday my mum (an active witness) went into hospital to have a tumor removed (successfully) as i'm the only daughter nearby to help, the other witnesses were asking the elders what they were supposed to do if they wanted to visit my mum and i was at her bedside, should they talk to me or turn round and go out again.. one elder said to do that would be utterly ridiculous, of course i should be spoken to.

  he was very annoyed even at the suggestion.

  How Do You Make Money Online? Do You Want To Make Money Online?

  coming out of the witnesses like many here with no university education, it's been a little difficult at times to know how to make a decent living.. since being disfellowshipped, for asking way too many difficult questions of the elders, i've found myself becoming more and more immersed in making money online.. perhaps you do the same?.

  or on the other hand, perhaps you too are struggling to understand how you too, could make a decent living online?.

  it seems to me, that this could be an awesome opportunity for some here involved in the business of making money online, to help fellow exwitnesses and others too, become more acquainted with some of the methods used to generating an ideal situation to earning for themselves more income.. of course, this can be a very confusing area for some people to understand and/or get to grips with.. so this got me to thinking this afternoon, how many of us here could help our fellow posters out.. my first question then is - if you are already making money online, how do you do it?

  my blood is boiling.. jcanon has as much right to post here and express his opinions as anybody else.. if you don't like his posts then don't bother commenting.. if you find his posts boring than don't bother commenting.. if you don't agree with him, then say why with evidence.. if you want to back him up then say why with evidence.. this whole "who hates **** or finds **** crap is really just descending to the level of the kindergarten playground.. everybody here has the right to be heard listened to or ignored - but not put under a spotlight of disdain and disapproval from other posters.. if i had been mocked or put down when i first came here, i would never have come back.. jc lives on this earth just like all of us.

  if he destroys his credibility or repels you that is his own doing.

  just don't recruit supporters of your own camp against him.. be fair to everybody, and they will be fair to you.. this was in response to the thread "who else finds jcanon's posts boring?.
